  1. Not yet. The original concept behind Trial Skills Live was to bring advocacy education into homes and classrooms across America via streaming video. If you really want to buy a DVD, shoot us an email and we’ll see what we can do for you.

  2. Yes, BUT you will need to contact us directly to set up a Classroom Account. Regular subscriptions to Trial Skills Live are for individual viewing only. We work with schools to provide a great classroom experience and we can provide additional online content (quizzes, tutorials, etc.) as needed. We’re training our students to be lawyers. Let’s not break any copyright laws in the process.

  3. Not at all! All of the tips and techniques are general. Nevertheless, every jurisdiction and every judge will have slightly different rules. For the most part, what we’re presenting is a safe baseline for advocacy on a national level. That being said, these videos are not designed to prepare you for an actual trial and we do NOT recommend they be used as such.

  4. Real attorneys! All of our “actors” are real attorneys and award winning Mock Trial advocates.

  5. Nope. State v. Perez is a fictitious criminal case and the defendant and witnesses are just actors (well, they’re attorneys, too, actually!).

  6. It’s in production! We’re sorry it’s not ready yet. We are constantly experimenting with new forms of educational media. We have something really cool in store for the cross-examination. It should be coming in a few months. Feel free to drop us a line if you think we’re taking too long!

  7. Absolutely! Educational media is our game. If you’re an educator and are looking to improve your classroom experience, let us work with you. We can design media around your lectures that will enhance the classroom experience and reinforce your material.
